Hello and welcome! I’m Alison Smith, and I’m delighted to be the Principal Director of Conexus Tuition Wigan.

As a qualified teacher with a large variety of classroom experience, I know that every child is unique. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching children across a range of year groups and abilities, and I understand that sometimes all a child needs is the right support to help them grow in confidence and achieve their potential.

As a parent, you want the very best for your child, and I understand how worrying it can be when they are struggling or lacking confidence at school. My aim is to give you peace of mind, knowing that your child is being supported by experienced, fully qualified teachers who are passionate about helping children succeed.

At Conexus Tuition Wigan, we currently offer expert Maths and English tuition from Key Stage 1 through to GCSE. Our tutors are fully qualified teachers with extensive classroom experience who deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to each child’s individual needs. Whether your child needs to close gaps in learning, prepare for SATs or GCSEs, or simply build confidence, we’re here to help.

Teaching has always been more than just a job to me—it’s about building relationships, inspiring confidence and helping children discover what they are capable of achieving. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a child believe in themselves and enjoy learning again.

I am passionate about providing high-quality tuition in a welcoming and supportive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged and motivated to succeed. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your child’s learning journey.
