Throughout my experience in a variety of roles in education, I have grown to believe that high quality, focused tuition can make a significant difference to a student’s grades, help them meet their true potential and massively improve their future opportunities for employment and quality of life.

With over 20 years of experience in Secondary School education I am proud to lead a team of highly qualified tutors delivering exam focused tuition in the areas of Sankey, Woolston and Padgate to students of all ages. In addition to face-to-face group tuition, we are pleased to offer high quality online tuition via zoom.

As a National Tutoring Programme partner my team has also delivered NTP tuition to over a dozen Primary and Secondary schools and hundreds of students in the Warrington area. This experience has helped us to develop a greater understanding of the needs of students disadvantaged by the pandemic and our tutors have made a significant impact on the progress of these pupils.

My son has been taking part in the 'bridging GCSE to A-level' courses in Chemistry, Biology and Physics for the last few weeks and I cannot recommend them enough! Sam finds the lessons really interesting and has learnt so much in such a short time! The Conexus tutors are very experienced and knowledgeable and definitely worth every penny and John (course director) has just been fabulous in ensuring that everything was working well for Sam - Thank you!!
We are really pleased with the tuition service offered by Conexus Warrington North (despite living in Essex). My 13 year old son was really struggling with self-motivation during the lockdown. Somehow, I discovered Conexus and he did a daily online maths session which he described as “cool” and “chilled”. He even agreed to having a further weekly 2-hour session which also includes science and English. He’s back at school now and progressing well in all 3 subjects and continues to enjoy the afternoon mixed subject session on Wednesdays. Conexus was such a lucky find for us because it’s affordable, they have very small groups and the students therefore get plenty of individualised attention.
We initially used Conexus for support for our daughter in the run up to GCSEs. We have been so impressed with the quality and style of teaching, and the results she achieved, at her request we are continuing with 'Bridging the Gap to A level' group sessions to help support her learning. She gets so much out of the sessions, I can highly recommend John and his amazing tutors!
We were fortunate to come across John and his online tutoring at the beginning of lockdown. At a time when kids were having to adjust to so much it was a relief to know our daughter could be taught Maths in this way. John works to each child’s ability, ensuring they are challenged whilst making sure they are secure within their knowledge. We have chosen to zoom with John, allowing some continuity with core subjects whilst schooling still seems so uncertain. Thanks.
Our son was working with John Rutter through Conexus (Warrington North) to help with the GCSE Physics, Chemistry and Maths, he was meant to sit this term. Since the schools have closed John and his team have moved to Zoom sessions on a 'bridging the gap to A Levels' in a number of set subjects over the week. (including Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Maths as well as other A level subjects).
I cannot express how useful these sessions have been to our son, they provide some form of timetabling, social interaction and best of all they are a platform in which he can look forward, rather than consider what he hasn't had.
