I’m Julie, a local teacher with over 20 years of experience working in schools across Stokesley, East Cleveland and beyond. I’ve taught English at secondary and A-Level, worked as a literacy and numeracy specialist in primary schools, and supported schools and local authorities as an education advisor. I also hold a postgraduate qualification in dyslexia and have marked GCSE English exams for AQA.

As a parent myself, I understand how hard it can be to find the right support. The truth is, many children need a little extra help to bridge the gap between what’s taught in class and what’s actually understood. That’s where tuition can make a real difference – not just to learning, but to confidence and wellbeing too.

Over the past six years, I’ve built a trusted team of fully qualified teachers, many of whom also work in local schools. As part of Conexus Tuition we offer high-quality, small group tuition in English, maths and science. We support children from Year 3 right through to GCSE, including those who are home educated or have additional needs.

Our tutors meet each child at their current level, building confidence and charting a clear path to progress. Whether it’s preparing for GCSEs or helping younger learners feel more secure in the classroom, we focus on nurturing self-belief and steady improvement.
