Hello, I’m Laura – Principal Director of Conexus Tuition in Ormskirk, Lathom, Billinge and Bickerstaffe.

With over 13 years of experience as a secondary English teacher and an AQA examiner, I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and make real progress. I’ve taught everything from KS3 and GCSE English to A-Level and English as a Foreign Language, both here in the UK and abroad.

We launched our first tuition classes in Westhead in April 2024 and expanded to Burscough later that year. Since then, our wonderful team of qualified, DBS-checked tutors has grown. We now offer small group tuition in maths, English, science and primary subjects, both after school and during the day.

Many of our tutors still work in schools and have experience with students from Year 2 to Year 13, including those with SEND. We also provide tailored daytime tuition for children who are not currently in school, working closely with schools, local authorities and families.

Our lessons are calm, welcoming and structured to support each child’s individual needs. We focus not only on academic progress, but on helping children feel more confident, capable and ready to thrive.

Whether you’re a parent or a local organisation looking for support, I’d love to chat and see how we can help.
