Hi, I’m Maria and I am the Principal Director of Conexus Tuition High Green and Chapeltown

I have over 30 years experience in the classroom and have had the privilege of supporting over 1,000 young learners on their educational journeys. I am passionate about teaching a variety of subjects and my specialism is Maths, making concepts clear through a variety of engaging approaches. Alongside my classroom teaching, I have prepared hundreds of children for key milestones including KS2 SATs, the Year 4 Multiplication Check, and secondary entrance exams..

As a classroom practitioner and a parent, my educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child can succeed when given the right support, encouragement, and opportunities to thrive. I am passionate about creating a positive, nurturing environment where learning feels exciting and purposeful. Through small, friendly group sessions, I aim not just to improve academic outcomes, but to nurture confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

At Conexus Tuition, we believe strong relationships are at the heart of learning. We work closely with families to deliver expert, nurturing tuition for children from KS1 to KS4, helping them grow in confidence and realise their full potential. All our tutors are fully qualified and experienced. Our goal is to create a thriving learning community where every child feels valued, empowered, and inspired to achieve their dreams—both in school and beyond.
